We got great value for our money with a spacious double room and plenty of storage. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the marina and the old town. The staff were super helpful and provided us with lots of information about the area.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety.

They were always ready to help and provide assistance when needed. the location of the hotel was convenient, close to popular attractions and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. This made it easy for me to explore the city and enjoy the local culture. Lastly, the communal areas of the hotel were well-designed and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere for socializing and meeting other travelers.
There were a few negative aspects of my experience. the rooms were quite cold during the winter months, and the electronic heating system provided little relief.

During my stay at Casa D'Alagoa, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location and the homely atmosphere that enveloped me. The stunning building and welcoming surroundings made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hostel offers a variety of comfortable and clean spaces, including a well-stocked kitchen, a lovely backyard, and a terrace upstairs. The bathrooms were spacious and well-maintained, and I appreciated the option for laundry facilities. The included breakfast was a nice touch, and the central location of the hostel made it easy to explore Faro and embark on day trips to surrounding towns, castles, and nature reserves. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as limited common restrooms and the distant beach access, I found Casa D'Alagoa to be a great value for my three-day trip. I highly recommend this hostel for its beautiful setting and welcoming atmosphere.

What a hostel! This place is immaculately clean, super friendly and genuinely hospitable from the top down. The attention to detail with the mattresses protected in plastic stood out the most for me. The volunteers were accommodating and kept the place cozy. The 4-bed room was spacious with trunks for our bags. The breakfast was amazing and not basic. Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed. The common area is awesome and the location is worth the money.
Totally recommend this hostel.
